Diaspora Tatsebaos
The young Diasporas in the European and Australian regions in particular do not have a voice.
AILAE would like to promote opportunities for the diasporic youth in both regions to articulate its experience and have spaces to do so.
Why Tatsebaos.
The tatsebaos, a traditionally democratic space for voicing concerns, experiences and appeals through writing on posters emerged spontaneously in China during the revolutionary years.
The tatsebaos form of expression was then widely adopted in the European students' and workers' movements from the sixties to the seventies.
The Diaspora Tatsebaos.
The Diaspora Tatsebaos Series within the Installations exhibition has been chosen as a space of expression for all members of the Diasporas but especially the young people.
AILAE is gathering Diaspora Tatsebaos to include in future Imagined Australia's events and in the next Installations' exhibit in particular.
