Luciano Ponzio (1974), Artist-chercheur, he carries out research along the experimental lines of what he calls "differimentismo". He is a researcher of Semiotics at the University of Salento-Lecce. His main research field is semiotics of the artistic text, with special reference to the theoretical and artistic production of Kazimir Malevich in relation to Bakhtinian aesthetics and Peircean semiotics. Currently the focus of his research is on iconic-homological likeness between writing and painting and on the inseparabile relation between art and life for a constructive and creative dia-logics between artistic language and representational reality. Selected exhibitions
From 26th of December 1998 to 7th of January 1999, he presented his artworks in a collective exhibition in the Library of Basilica di San Nicola, Bari.
He is first classified in a regional painting competition "Madreperla. Aspetti e riflessi della produzione artistica giovanile in Puglia" on 6th January of 1999 with the artwork titled Cielo (acrilic on wood wheel), acquired from Cassa di Risparmio of Conversano and exposed there.
From 24th to 27th of May 1999, one man exhibition of drawings titled "Mondo e ritmi neri", Casa di Pulcinella (Stadio delle Vittorie of Bari), artworks from 1995 to 1999 published in Athanor series.
From 11th of January to 11th of February 2001, he exposed his artworks in Galleria "Spaziogiovani" of Comune di Bari in a one man exhibition introduced by Franco Buono and titled "Differenza e Differimento".
From 14th to 23th of January 2005, inside Galleria "Artoteca Vallisa" of Bari, he exposed his artworks in a one man exhibition titled "Lo Sguardo e l'Eclissi. Extra-Grafie di Luciano Ponzio", introduced by Domenico D'Oria, Franco Buono e Fabiola Giancotti, with musical participation of Pierpaolo Martino.
From 16th to 28th of February 2005, occasioned the International Congress "Barthes per Roland Barthes", he participated in the collective exhibition titled "Lumière Barthes - Mostra bibliografica di e su Roland Barthes" in "Artoteca Alliance Française" of Bari.
From 22th of March to 9th of April 2006, for the Associazione culturale "Gramigna" in Bari, he exhibited 40 paintings and drawings in a one man exhibition titled "Contraidola. Semiografie della Pittura", introduced by Dario Dellino.
From 17th to 27th of June 2006, he exhibited his artworks for the Associazione artistico-socio-culturale "Raggio Verde" of Lecce in an exhibition tiled "Configurazioni di scritture senza dimora", introduced by Carlo A. Augieri.
From 11th to 24th of May 2007, occasioned by the Festa del Libro, he participated in the collective exhibition of contemporany art titled: "Linee di Scritture, Linee di Segni", organized by Bruno Bandini, inside the Library "Lame" of Bologna.
From 11th to 24th of May 2007, occasioned by the congress Imagined Australia, he participated in the collective exhibition of art titled: "Installations" organized by Monash University, inside the Palazzo Vaj of Prato (v. catalogue Installations. Imagined Australia, curated by Renata Summo-O'Connell, John Hoenig and Kevin Shaw, Grafiche La Stamperia, Firenze, 2007).
From 19th to 29th of October (extended until 1st Dicember), he exhibited in a one man exhibition of painting titled "Tinto d'un tratto in un quarto divino", for the vineria "Un Quarto" in Bari (v. "Quotidiano di Bari", p. 11).
