Bruno Leti
1941      born Roccantica, Italy
1950      Arrived Australia. Lived at Clonbinane, Victoria
1952-60      Primary and secondary education. Salesian Brothers College, 'Rupertswood', Broadford and Seymour High School
1960-64

Studied art at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, University of Melbourne, Melbourne Teachers' College. Caulfield Institute of Technology; Associate Diploma of Fine Art – Painting RMIT) Dip.Ed.

1967      Travelled to Europe visiting Italy, France, Spain, the United Kingdom, Germany, Holland and Scandinavia

1968-70      Taught English at Ostia, near Rome.

Travelled to Canada, taught art at Scott Park Secondary College in Hamilton, Ontario, where the Bruno Leti Award for the best art student each year was established. Visited New York, Washington, Boston.

Returned to Australia

1971      Employed as Education Officer at the National Gallery of Victoria
1972      Awarded the 'Premio Italia' Prize in Melbourne. Awarded the Caltex Award for Art
1973      Returned to teaching; part-time studies in printmaking with Tate Adams at RMIT
1975      completed Fellowship Diploma in printmaking, RMIT. Travelled to Peru, Brazil and Argentina.
1976      Pederson Prize, Queensland Art Gallery. The Alice Prize, Alice Springs
1978      Commissioned Member Print (Cloud cover, etching/aquatint), Print Council of Australia
1982      Son Adriano born. The Mitchelton Print Prize. Spent three months at Grafica Uno, Milan; working with Master Printmaker Giorgio Upiglio
1984      worked at Grafica Uno, Milan.
1985      Commissioned Patron Print by the Print Council of Australia
1991      Worked at Grafica Uno, Milan.
1997      Silk Cut Award, purchase.
1998      Commission to paint monumental works for the East and West Galleries of the new Children's Court of Victoria in Melbourne.
1999      Artist in residence, Edition and Artist Book Studio, Canberra School of Art, Australian National University
2001      The Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant, New York. The Rena Ellen Jones Memorial Print Award Purchase, Warrnambool.

1967 – 2003      over fifty five solo exhibitions in Melbourne Victoria, Rome, Ontario, Canada, Canberra, Milan, Washington DC, Hobart, Brisbane, Sydney, Perth, Geelong, Adelaide, Townsville, Cologne, Germany, and Chicago.
