What does artegiro do

First of all Artegiro being a nomadic concept wants to question boundaries and politics of confinement of art to the elitist use of it.
Artegiro also:

-proposes to bring Australian artists and Australian art to the European market with a fresh and non discriminating outlook. Australian art infact is often orientalised and exoticised making it even more remote and incomprehensible.

-makes sure that: a) women artists are showcased with the same care and emphasis male artists are;
b) the precious background each Australian artist has is valued equally( the art market ironically and disturbingly discriminates Australian art privileging Indigenous artists for the very reasons why historic discrimination has hurt them and their communities so much)

- works to promote art in context meaningful to the artists and the viewer;

-makes sure conceptual artists are given the space they need to express themselves in planned events and involve the audience as the artists wish;

-works towards promoting versatile musicians who wish to generate events that address the diverse interests and desire of participation of European audiences
